Girls Dem Club x She Was Free bring you an afternoon of warm tea and poetry, inspired by the greats of the al-Nahda — the Arab Renaissance.
Together, we’ll explore poetic forms and prompts designed to help you find your voice and express it freely. Whether you share your work or keep it close, you’ll leave with writing that means something to you.
Throughout the afternoon, we’ll be serving Comptoir Libanais rose and mint tea with baklava to keep the inspiration flowing. Each guest will also receive a goodie bag worth £25, curated by She Was Free and Girls Dem Club.
This is a space for you to slow down, connect, and create. No experience needed, just an open heart and a wandering mind.
