Who

we are

Girls Dem Club is a London-based community organisation for women, QBIPOC people and allies. We host low-cost events and hangouts, produce original media and build spaces where showing up as your unique self is the the whole point.

What

we do

Events for the community. Media for the culture.

We started in East London with a simple belief: connection shouldn't be a luxury. From that, we've built a growing calendar of affordable events and experiences designed for people who are often priced out of the spaces that were made for them.

  • The Socials: Admin nights, group outings, games nights and casual link-ups where connections last outside of the event.

  • The Movement: Dance classes, craft nights, wellness workshops and skill-based sessions that get you out of your comfort zone and into your potential.

  • The Stage: Open mic nights and live showcases spotlighting the hidden talent in our community.

But GDC isn't just about events. We produce original content, share free community resources, and are building GDC Media: a platform giving underground creatives and artists the visibility they deserve.

We're not just hosting the social. We're documenting the movement, and making sure the door stays open for everyone.

Our story

Girls Dem Club started in London one summer afternoon after a chance meeting and a simple wish: to find someone to go swimming with.

That idea grew into creating spaces where people who can meet outside traditional nightlife. Inspired by the lives we saw on screen, we planned low-cost, feel-good hangouts across the city: a softer, slower side of London for people seeking real connection.

.Girls Dem Club is our way of making that dream real.
